Antique Copper Maid Rite Wash Board. Columbus Washboard Co. Ohio.

The Antique Copper Maid Rite Wash Board by Columbus Washboard Co. is a unique piece of Americana, featuring a simplistic and primitive design typical of washboards from the US-Midwest region. Made of durable wood and with original craftsmanship, this washboard reflects the authenticity and nostalgia of a bygone era. The copper accents add a touch of elegance to this functional and historically significant item.

The copper has beautiful patina. You can tell this item has been used, the washing side has a nice fade to it and the wood is smooth in sections.

You can see where the copper base has some cracks, and the wood too, but this helps tell the story of an era we will never know or understand.

It's a lovely statement piece for your home.
